Never go pre-built if you're even considering making a PC by yourself.

Also, that build is pretty good, but would recommend going with Skylake I3 so you can have an upgrade path

GTX 1070 - Ryzen 5 3600x - Corsair H100i V2 - 32GB DDR4 3200

Spoiler

1) would drop the gpu for a better cpu

2) please dont use that psu with a good gpu... you'll kill your whole system...

3) you can get windows from other cheaper sources

maybe you can give us a budget so we can try build a better one?

Spoiler

1) changed your cpu to a 6 core cpu, should perform just as good as yours in games, but a bit faster in multitasking

2) changed your 960 to 950... to fit inside the budget, budget went to a better case and psu

3) changed your case and psu to a better one

4) you can get windows from other cheaper alternatives

1. get your windows key off the microsoftsoftwareswap subreddit for $20

2. replace the GPU with a AMD R9 380 as it is superior to the GTX 960

3. Also, you will need a power supply... Unless you intend for your computer to run on pixie dust.

4. I highly recommend getting an SSD, even a 120GB one will be great.

1) agree

2) agree

3) plan to use the one included with the case, not recommended tho

4) not in a budget build, its a luxury item

you sure about that dude... I just build a $200 gaming PC for a friend and it has a small 64GB SSD in it. At least pick up a $30 120GB SSD from ebay if you can.

if getting an ssd means cutting short on the cpu or gpu, no

if getting ssd will not affect core components, get a better core component lol

yes, but it does affect day-to-day use on your computer. If you don't want to buy an SSD fine, don't get one. But let me say this... Once you use a system with an SSD as your daily driver, you never want to go back.

exactly, but gaming performance is still the priority here lol

atleast for me
