Really any modern processor around that price range there isn't much difference of the others so the AMD cpu is fine.

And A 980 and a 970 SSC have about the exact same performance for a lot less so that would be a better choice to save some money.

And I would probably go with a more trusted brand with the psu like EVGA, CM, Corsair, or XFX

What kind of workload will you have? Getting an i7 4790 or E3 1231 v3 gives you about the same total performance and Twice as high per-core performance.

(Like any benchmark, take this with a grain of salt)
