Just a question, why did you spend 400$ on that motherboard and only get a 650?

What I'm wondering is why he got a 650 at all.

I think he got it from Time To live Customs but not sure what else could "TTL" mean. He wrote that he got this rig 'sent from TTL'.

OC3D is Time To Live Customs channel.

So... If Jesus had the gold, would he buy himself out instead of waiting 3 days for the respawn?

I was wondering the same. Why such an expensive board and i7k but only a 60gb SSD and a 650? Inside an XL case nonetheless.

May i ask what you will use the computer for? Looks like you want to use cuda and need more ram... editing, rendering videos?

Congratulations, then.

Don't waste time upgrading to 660, wait for Maxwell next year and upgrade to THAT :D

Also i'd get 1600MHz which is enough for Haswell memory controller.

Yeah, i will be using Cinema 4D which is more CPU and ram intensive, the GPU is just getting loaned to me till i get my own which will be a 660 in a couple of weeks because its the same price as a 650 and it fits in with the colour scheme im going for. It is also sufficient for Cinema 4D. I use most Adobe programmes, After effects, Premier, Photoshop, Dreamweaver etc so i will make use of the cuda.

Thanks, I need it asap so a 660 will do for now, i can always get another 660 along the line. I might just get 1600MHz it is £20 cheaper but would it limit my overclock noticeably?

But... 650 is not much worse than 660 so why'd you waste your money for few % of performance? Unless you have to give the GPU back to owner in few weeks, then get anything that is 'bottom-line enough' like 660 :P

My old GPU was a 5450 so anything is an improvement. :P I might stretch and get a 660 ti or 670 but it wont make much improvement to the programmes I use. Im not a serious hardcore PC gamer so it wont matter that much. However if or when GTA V comes to PC it will be a different story. :P

I really like the green theme and the naming, but shouldn't this be in the "show off your rig" thread? Nice build nonetheless :)

Unless I've been horribly misinformed I don't think he paid anything for the M/B? It

was a competition price AFAIK.
