I have an intel core i5 2500k .

And when i play  games (Dark souls 2 ,Trove...)

it reachies 79-83 degrees celsius...(with a stock cooler)

I am changing the pasta and i checked for heatsink problems but everything is OK!

Is my processor old for gaming ?

It might be the heatsink itself thats done for it. Otherwise your CPU might be showing wear and tear quite a bit.

 

It doesn't have anything definitively to do with the fact that you're gaming.

Ya your heat sync is probably the problem. If slick still uses a 2nd g cire i7, then you should be fine.
