R9 380(X) supports fully DX12. Almost the same price tag, but you pay a bit more for the features

R9 380 is 15% faster and has full DX12 support and is cheaper
R9 380X is 25% faster, slightly more expensive and has proper DX12 support.

You misread. They said Nvidia would be talking about them but the earliest release date I've heard is June.

Essentially, at GTC, Nvidia will be doing what AMD did back in January - demoing their new toys

Yup - Nvidia usually say vague things and news outlets go wild with theories

Hubbub. Here's AMD admitting they don't fully support it. Many of the current cards in both caps are supported by DX12 but none of the cards fully support DX12. Get the distinction? Geforce claims to get close by supporting feature level 21_1 on a bunch of cards, but only time will tell.

They support the features that increase performance by 30% though
