Emulators with lan

So me and some friends are planning on having a LAN party. One of the things we want to do is play some gameboy advanced or early ds games with an emulator (most likely Pokemon or Mario bro's). Does anyone know of an emulator/emulators/programs to help us do this? Also, I don't think that we need anything super powerful to run an emulator of these level of games, but the least powerful machine that will be running is a laptop with an i3 running 4400hd mobile so if anybody thinks that will be problem let me know. Thank you!
