Capture Card

Hello everyone,

Recently, my friend who like to makes movies asked me about a "Card Capure"

Input: SD-SDI + AES/EBU (can use analog sound signal.) It will be the best if it can include both SD-SDI and HD-SDI.

Output: AVI, MOV, MPEG, MP and other standard work with Adobe Pre.

I have no clue what he is taking about. Can anybody clarify for me?

He wants an SDI capture card, blackmagic sell them, best to look there, he can always talk to their advisor if he has specific questions
