Build plan (Need advice)

Hey all I am planning on making a PC for penetration testing on a linux distribution, which will be running multiple programs at once. I do not need fancy graphics or anything as I will not be gaming on this rig. Not too sure what the exact purpose of you machine will be since i am not familiar with linux, but it sounds like you will be doing more computing with multiple programs. 

 

Perhaps a better CPU and more ram?
