Vive or Rift?

I am looking at getting one the VR headsets and am torn. Barnacles's review of the Vive really swayed me because I loved the idea of walking around my room with the headset but I had really been looking forward to playing Eve: Valkyrie but it won't be coming to Vive. I also like that Vive already has their controllers finished. It's $200 more but I think it might be worth it.

Eve Valkyrie is not a confirmed Rift exclusive as far as I know.

IMO hold off on VR for a few months, once the market has more options available, prices will hopefully drop a little bit.

Also, on a quick opinion regarding both headsets, it would seem to me like the Vive is objectively better than the Rift. BUT, it's also expensier, and it's hard to know at this point in time if the extra features of it will ever be utilized.

Sadly it looks like the market is already being divided by the hardware and software manufacturers.

That is really really weird, I'm fairly sure I've seen newer articles and info that still refer to the game as not being exclusive, I don't know how the game could differentiate between different VR headsets.

Didn't notice the date. But the devs are still saying that it is going to be Rift and PS4 only. Here is a thread from a year ago because I can't read dates....about this issue on the EVE forums.
