Quick question about connecting this 4 pin to 4x 4pin fan splitter. Here is the link: http://www.performance-pcs.com/phobya-4pin-pwm-to-4x-4pin-fan-splitter-pcb.html#Details

I purchased the splitter but it doesn't come with any cables to connect it to power or mobo. My question is what cables doi need to actually use this splitter, something like this 4pin female to 4pin female extension: http://www.performance-pcs.com/modmytoys-4-pin-pwm-female-to-4-pin-female-extension-cable-black-24-sleeved.html

or or do I also need to supply power through molex?

thanks.

If you plan on using 4 fans you should make sure your motherboard can handle that power if you are using a mobo header. If you use a molex to 3 or 4pin you will get full power all the time, but it won't be pwm, it will act as a 3pin. Best bet is to use molex to 3pin and get a low noise adapter in thereif you don't want to run at 100%, or power it all off of a fan controller. That is unless you NEED pwm, some fans like the enermax vegas ones do or the LED's wont work.
