I think one of the parts in my system is preventing the BIOS from working. Can anyone help me with this? I have already replaced the motherboard twice.

My system is:

CPU: 5820k

Motherboard: MSI X99A SLI Plus

CPU Cooler: Cooler Master hyper 612 v2

Graphics Card: PowerColour Radeon r9 390x pcs+ 8gb

Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 2800 16gb CMK16GX4M4A2800C16 @ 2133

Power Supply: Cooler Master B2 700w

SSD: Kingstone v300 240GB

HDD: WD 3TB green

Optical drive: Asus optical drive

When I try to POST outside of the case I can get into the BIOS but half of the submenus and all of the button in the BIOS when clicked make the system freeze and the only way to fix this is to power down.

I am wondering if one of my components is preventing the BIOS from working. The only components I could test with verified working components is the power supply, the graphics card and the CPU cooler, although I have not done this yet. My suspicion is the memory because is in not on the qualified memory vendor list of the motherboard and the motherboard does not support 2800. In the BIOS the RAM is recognised but is at 2133 and I cannot change it. According to the PC Parts Picker site and the LTT forum the memory should be compatible.

CMK16GX4M4A2800C16 is supported by MSI X99A SLI PLUS. and the board supports upto 3000mhz.

check below link
https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/X99A-SLI-PLUS.html#support-ocmem

Just turn on the XMP in your bios, save and reboot to run it at 2800mhz.

Try single stick is DIMM 1 Slot first.
Have you check whether the RAM running in quad channel?
BTW how did you populated the 4 sticks ? The order for this board is 1,3,5,7 for quad and 1,5 for dual.
