I recently used driver booster 3 to update all my drivers as er recommendation by my friend. I updated all the drivers that I still use. After I did that and restarted my comp my usb 3s stopped working. Then I needed to restart as it had to re-detect my 2nd hard drive. Once I did that my usb 3s still did not work. I have plugged in my mouse which does get power from them but will not work, then my keyboard gets nothing at all as well as my headset.

And thats why its better to either update drivers manually or using each drivers own update feature. You can remove drivers for problematic ones from Device manager. Reboot and windows will load PnP drivers for them. Then isntall latest official drivers from manufacturers website. For USB3s, its your mobo.

I found that I have a CM6730-08 mother board and i do not know when I made this change so I1 do not know if I can do a restore point is there any way to take off drivers and put them back on? If so where are the drivers to download as i could not find them at all.

Thats prebuilt PC. Your best bet at this point is to try repairing windows. You can try either with built-in tool (F8 while booting) or with install media. When asked, select Repair mode.

Drivers for that PC/mobo can be found on Asus websites.

Don't bother using that software, I've used it before and it blue screen my pc. Always download from the manufacturer website. If you are currently using Windows 8 and above, then the usb 3 driver is included  in Windows.
