I've recently gotten a chance to finally build my own computer but I'm not too sure about what to get, I kind of know my way around graphics card which I'm planning on using the GeForce GTX 970. But I'm not too sure about the other parts of the computer, Mainly with the Cpu, Cooling System, Motherboard and the Power Supply. If you guys have any suggestions on what to get that will be great. Thanks

My Budget Is around $1500-$1800

Try the Intel i7 4790k, its a great overclocker and comes @4GHz out the box! an air cooler should be fine for the foreseeable future, the NH- D14 should be great! or the Hyper 212 Evo if you're on a budget. The case, maybe go for a bling bling Corsair graphite 730T. Go for the Z97 PC mate for the Mobo mainly cus i dont have any suggestions and i own that mobo xD. get the EVGA B2 650 Watt power supply. It should scale well for you needs in the future.

Hope this helps :P

given the budget you  gave , why not just get a GTX980 ti instead of the 970, still  very much in your price range.

you wouldn't have that 3.5gb Ram cap limit the 970's have, it would still according to anyones build posted be  within your budget  by a good margin.
