Hello, I did the stupid thing of having both my SSD and my HHD hooked up to the computer while installing windows for the first time. Even though i have my operating system on my SSD, my HHD still got a system reserved space in it. How can i remove this so that i get to use my whole HHD as storage?

System reserved space generally cannot be removed without significant fiddling. It can be easily be removed at install time.

I believe it contains things like the boot loader and a bunch of stuff required to start windows and while you could move it to the system drive it requires significant fiddling otherwise you windows install will not boot.

If you really want to do it you can follow stuff like this.

Failure will result in an unbootable OS and as the guide states it can cause data loss, corruption, end of the world if your not careful. (Backup your data basically before trying this) And for all that effort your only going to recover a few hundred MB typically.

Now if this HDD is external to the PC then you might have problems (Not having the drive will prevent the OS from booting). I'd advise a clean install instead.
