Was watching the Wan show, and they mentioned Six Flags in the US will be using GearVR, and Luke mentioned how they should use Vive or Oculus instead.

 

But this is already being done. Thorpe Park in the UK are opening a new ride this year which uses HTC Vive headsets for a VR experience designed by Illusionist and Mentalist, Derren Brown

I could of sworn I posted my comment as a new topic (unless I'm going crazy), I guess it was moved by a Mod? But I didn't get a notification of message that this was done.

 

I don't understand why it was moved though, I guess the two posts are sort of related, but it is two different topics. One is about the concept of VR on rollercoasters, the other is VR actually being used on a new ride (which isn't even a rollercoaster).

 

But regardless very cool use of VR
