Little over your budget. You would have to upgrade to a more powerful PSU if you SLI. Also wouldn't do any overclocking with the chosen cooler, but after you installed a water cooling system, go crazy...

You went %50 over budget. That is not a little. Additionally, you went V300. That's not a good choice.

nevermind my bad

Are you set on skylake? If your doing content creation, haswell will be more cost effective in getting you more cores that you might need for it. The IPC of haswell is still quite close to skylake, so the performance would be similar.

6700k in UK: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/intel-cpu-bx80662i76700k About 290 pounds.

6700k in US: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/intel-cpu-bx80662i76700k About $375 USD.

The conversion means nothing, the prices vary like crazy between countries.

Yea didn't think the prices would vary like crazy unless you were in some ridiculously remote country. IDK then, guess i'm out of this convo. Oh well, good luck... *and like a fart in the wind, it was almost like he was never there*

Don't worry about it, just remember to switch pcpartpicker to match the currency someone's using.

Heh. Similar to my old plan. Heck, the case, mobo, cpu, gpu, cpu cooler, and hdd are the same, and the RAM is the same amount as mine would have and the PSU was a EVGA 650W P2 instaed
