Windows 10 keyboard layout issue

I'm from england and I use a uk keyboard layout, but when I reboot my pc or send it to sleep it'll change it back to the us layout. how can I disable the us layout?

move to control panel, select small symbols in the top right corner, move to language, click on options on the right side of your language, delete the input method you dont want to use, done.

set the uk layout to default

The remove button is greyed out

thats because its the method thats in use. select the other method first, then you can remove the us layout.

?? if you have set a keyboard/system language as default, and its currently default, you can't remove it. have you tried changing your system language to uk, if one of those exists(probably does)
