as the title says

i dont want to get fooled by my own experience and you sure have more

in the past 10 years i was unlucky with WD and everytime i got an internal drive they died after a year or so, i changed the brand and took seagate and never had problems again

currently my external drives 2TB are getting old ~7 years

and i´ve been looking for some bigger with like 5TB

but cant decide which of those 2 brands to choose

WD Elements 5TB or Seagate Expansion 5TB

or do you guys have any other awesome suggestions?

thx in advance

hail the brotherhood of nod

I'd go with WD.  Seagate drives seem to fail more quickly
