When you have multiple monitors you run them from the GPU.
If you have multiple GPU's you run all monitors from the top GPU in the TOP PCI-e slot.

So I just learned I'm supposed to runot my hdmi cable off my graphics card instead of my motherboard. Or else I won't get signal from my motherboard. What if I wanna do sli? Do I run two hdmi cables from them or I just have one cable on a single card while the other are just connected?
