What router is good for me?

rk2319

I was thinking about getting an ASUS RT-AC87U Dual-Band Wireless-AC2400 Gigabit Router (http://store.asus.com/us/item/201511AM040000638/A39377?_ga=1.238416836.519858486.1448916363) and i was wondering if it is a good all around router. It needs to cover a mid to large size house with a fairly strong wifi signal. I am open to other router suggestions, but nothing over $220 USD. Is there a better one in this price range? What do you guys think?

Netgear Nighthawk AC1900: http://www.amazon.com/NETGEAR-Nighthawk-AC1900-Gigabit-Router/dp/B00F0DD0I6

I got a smart TV, two tablets, two phones and my gaming rig all hooked up to it and not so much as a stutter. Signal is great, can latch on a good fifty feet away believe it or not (that's going through walls and other crap). Highly recommended.

EDIT: Just noticed that the router you posted pretty much beats mine spec for spec, but since it's on sale it does a pretty good job for less money (at least right now)
