VR Computer and New GPU

I have my Media Server that Doesn't need as much power as it has and I want a VR computer so I think I'm going to move some stuff around 

 

Have List

Media Server has a 990X Motherboard with a 9370 and 8GB Ram With a Geforce 8800GT  (such speed,much wow)

The core of this system will be replaced with a Core 2 quad 8GB and no Graphics cause its got on-board

 

My computer is in my signature. I don't use all the power that computer has so i was thinking of moving this one into another case I have laying around and getting a different PSU and GPU and replacing it with the Server system 

 

Need List

I defiantly need a PSU  like a 600-700 maybe. 

 

So Either I move the 290 to the ITX case (its got a h50 on it so heat isn't too bad) and get myself a cheaper card or i keep the 290 and get a more powerfull card for VR ( a 390x or 980)  The Most intense game I have is the Witcher 3. What GPU Do I get?

 

 

Current: R2600X@4.0GHz\\ Corsair Air 280x \\ RTX 2070 \\ 16GB DDR3 2666 \\ 1KW EVGA Supernova\\ Asus B450 TUF

Old Systems: A6 5200 APU -- A10 7800K + HD6670 -- FX 9370 + 2X R9 290 -- G3258 + R9 280 -- 4690K + RX480
