A friend of mine has got a graphics card and he occasionally gets issues in certain games, he says that it is not only in this game (GTA V).

 

I have had him try reinserting the graphics card, which worked for couple of days but then the problem persists.

 

The Card is:

ASUS Radeon R7 260X

 

PC Parts Include:

CPU - Intel Core i5-4590 3.3 GHz

PSU - Ultra LSP series V2 650W ATX

Storage - WD 1TB HDD

Ram - Corsair Vengance 2x4gb dimms (8gb) 1866 mHz

Motherboard - ASUS H81M-E Micro ATX

Monitor - BenQ (Im awaiting for the model #, will post asap)

Display Cable - DVI

That looks like the gpu is dying, usually get that if u oc too much. Try lowering the clock and mem speeds to reduce the artifacting. This happens with old gpus when they're on their last legs and you may have to dial back the clock below factory.

TBH looks like a software issue to me. Try wiping drivers with DDU and reinstalling.
