Good day, I need help.

I just purchase xbox 360 wireless controller. I installed the driver then plug in the wireless receiver on the usb port at the back of my pc, after that when i press the logo on the controller it won't light up. Doing some research on the internet, they said that there should be a mark on the device manager but when i check mine it's not there. I don't know what to do next. i check the battery and it has power. Please help me.

OMG, thanks a lot, i placed the battery the wrong way. I saw 2 spring at the bottom so i thought that is is + - and + - but it should be - + - +. My bad.

Thanks for the reply. didn't bother to check if i correct placed the battery the right orientation
