Access mouse onboard memory

Is there anyway to access the oboard memory on a mouse? I want to backup the firmware that is installed on my Asus Gladius.

No.

May I ask why you want to back up the firmware? That's a bit of a strange goal.

The firmware that was shipped with the mouse (1.24) had a shorter button latency than the newer 1.29.

Asus doesnt provide anyway of downloading the old firmware.

They increased the debounce time because some mice had a double click issue (not mine tho).

 

A guy on overclock.net said he would buy a new gladius and upload the good firmware if someone could help him retrive it.
