A USB speaker is going to use it's own audio solution separate from your onboard.

Hi guys,

 

I'm about to build a PC and I am using a Gigabyte H170 D3H motherboard which apparently has really good built in audio. So my question is, If I just download the motherboard's drivers and plug in a USB speaker will it work or should it be from the Audio port?

Oh and only headphones plugged into the jack will use the built in audio?
