so i restarted my computer and apon restarting windows said my drives smart triggered saying its a bad drive, so i downloaded crystaldiskinfo and ran it. it says caution on 2 lines but i have no idea what any of that smart stuff means. BUT the funny thing is this isnt the drive windows cried about... it cried about one of my toshiba drives but in crystaldiskinfo everything says its fine.

so my question is this: does the toshiba drive look ok? and how about the seagate?

thanks for any help

well... heres the seagate. not sure why it failed but it did, heres the output log. not that i think it probably matters because im sure if it failed it means i will probably have to replace this drive. im running the tests on the toshiba now though

idk what any of that stuff means in the test but if it passed im guessing it means the drive is fine, but why would windows say smart triggered warnings on that drive. just confused.

Is it possible it was complaining about the drive that had problems and you just misread it thinking it was complaining about a different one?

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.
