How old is the tubing?

water on the gpu, when i got on the room the image was fine but when the pc was turnning off it went gray(i think it died)

I'm don't know much about water cooling, but there could have been a build up of pressure somewhere, any kinks?

i tought it might be pressure but since the loop is closed it cant drow more air form ousite so the pressure should be the same

does anyone know why this happened?

First off, I hope there is no damage to any components....

What coolant were you using? did you add any additives?

Finally before you do anything remove all the tubing and replace... as it may be a manufacturing fault...

2nd. get new tubing that is ACTUALLY good.

3rd. Was any of the ports or channels blocked in anyway?

i dont think anthing was blocked, i will take it appart later.

if it was a manufacturing problem on the tube i will complain on the store.

i hear a lot of ppl talking about that tubing brand, its even sold on EK web shop

Even if it was sold by EK, it's better to get tubing that was made by people who specialize with that. Primochill anyone?

its relatively thin walled tubing only 1.5mm. from the pictures it looks like it was heated then exploded due to pressure.   you could also have simply gotten a batch of tubing with a defect, its not likes they pressure test this stuff.

I prefer clear tubing since its so easy to see defects in it.

Seen failures like this before, they probably added to much colourant and this made it week, thats why clear is best as you cant add colourant to make it clear...

I think you might want to upgrade your tubing. When investing on a custom water cooling loop,

you really don't want to be skimping on important materials like the tubing.

Not sure if it's the product it self or something you my have done unintentionally.

But I would recommend changing your tubing and coolant or if your using distilled water.

Colored tubing(If have color scheme) clear coolant.

Or clear tubing, clear coolant(if not into aesthetics) and/or distilled water, (if using) with proper additives.

It sounds like the tubing wasn't on the fitting properly. It's insanely hard to get tubbing off a compression fitting if it's tightened correctly.

I use Master Kleer tubing with EK and alpha cool fittings. Never had any issues with tubing being close to coming off.

There is a chance your coolant stopped or slowed and the block heated up to the CPU temp. If there's no flow the water and therefore tubing will heat up close to the temperature of the CPU. That combined with a loose fitting and increased pressure could have caused it to pop off.

That would mean the pump is the cause. Bear in mind hot tubing will kink and therefore slow your coolant down even more.

but the computer would shut down at 100º C itsimpossible for the water to get at 100ºc before the cpu

The water wouldn't have had to boil for the pressure to increase.

(I have actually seen the pictures now) and can almost certainly say the pump slowed down or stopped and the tubing melted. The tubing doesn't have to be at 100C to melt. It just needs to soften.

but if the tube melted and it wasent pressure, how did it sounded like a champgne bottle beeing open?

Water in a loop can reach high pressures without boiling, like I said. If you cut a tube the water will "squirt" out.
