Right now I have about $1,500 max budget, I would like a lot of gaming performance, I really need Windows 10 Pro, and I don't much storage on my computer because the company has a massive NAS server that can be accessed wirelessely, so I just need ~256 GB of storage and I would like an SSD, m.2 preferred.

I also need a new monitor and with the power this computer will have, I would like a 144Hz panel. I also need a keyboard and mouse from my Cooler Master CM Storm Devastator, I want mechanical, I'm sick of membrane, and I really really really really want a performance mouse.

For performance I don't mind having an AMD processor but I would like an Intel processor.

16 GB of ram MINIMUM! I would like 32 but I don't need it.

For the GPU I would like one 980, not two, just one.

I would really want a Mini ITX build, I don't have much room on my desk, I have an ATX case right now and I'm crammed in right now.

Current Idea for PC

BTW I'm a USB port hog.

Because of it being such a small forum factor case, I decided to go for a Nano, as it was quite literally made for these situations. Unfortunately, this puts it $38 over budget, and that´s without the fans or windows. If you wish, you could go for a 390 to reduce the cost back down, but I am worried about how it will fair in such a small case. If you want, you can drop the monitor to a 120hz display, and that might help subsidize costs. Another option is just to go with a traditional Sata SSD:

The psu in your spec is also pretty bad. You can get an EVGA P2 650W for $66.99 after rebate which is far superior to a Corsair CSM.
