So when I started this I set out to make a budget build off eBay with a total budget of £xxx. I will not actually build this and will include UK sellers.

This is what I came up with:

CPU: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Intel-SIX-CORE-XEON-E5645-2-4GHz-12MB-5-86GT-s-SLBWZ-CPU-Server-Processor-/201396166963?hash=item2ee425a133:g:Me0AAOSwMmBVt4gd

Mobo:http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Intel-DX58SO-Extreme-Series-Socket-1366-Enthusiast-Motherboard-X58-Mint-/322029163095?hash=item4afa6f1257:g:mhEAAOSwr7ZW2rhR (isn't used but still good)

Ram: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/12Gb-Hynix-2Rx4-DDR3-PC3-10600R-3-x-4Gb-Matched-Modules-HMT151R7BFR4C-H9-/182019490161?hash=item2a61350171:g:-EIAAOSwUuFWuy9M

GPU:http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Sapphire-AMD-Radeon-R9-280X-VAPOR-X-OC-3072-MB-11221-02-40G-Graphics-Card-/272152255323?hash=item3f5d89db5b:g:VlEAAOSwUuFW1ZE4

Case:http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/XIGMATEK-ECHO-MIDI-TOWER-BLACK-COMPUTER-CASE-ATX-mATX-MINI-ITX-USB-3-0-/111908826072?hash=item1a0e492bd8:g:Sc0AAOSwuAVWxbAa (Heck, it looks good and its affordable.)

PSU:http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/500W-EVGA-Bronze-500B-80PLUS-Bronze-Single-Rail-ATX-PSU-/121870615823?hash=item1c600e050f:g:r7AAAOSwLnlWn4wi

SSD: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Sandisk-Plus-Solid-State-120GB-SSD-/161992160816?hash=item25b77c3630:g:FOcAAOSwzgRW04-0

HDD: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/WD-Blue-Desktop-1TB-SATA-III-3-5-Hard-Drive-7200RPMrpm-64MB-Cache-/181652357489?hash=item2a4b530171:g:WAQAAOSw3xJVWx6M

And the Grand total is £507.60. For a six core hyper threaded chip, a boot drive, a mass storage drive a 280x and 12gb RAM is think this is a decent build.

I probably should of got a lesser gpu and a better CPU, right?

Not that any of this is real.

Yup. That Xeon is weaker than the 8350
