Need help with installing Win

Go to solution Solved by VladislS,

Now installing windows.
Learn every day :D

Hello

Right now I am working on a laptop that needed a clean install of windows...

At first I had a problem that I could not make a partition from unallocated space but I managed with that.

But now I have 3 partitions:

Drive 0 Section 1 ( 253,9GB of free space)

Drive 0 Section 2 ( This is where the backup is !)

Drive 0 Section 3 ( 16,6GB of free space)

Firstly, I can not connect Section 1 and Section 3... When deleting them the unallocated space is still separated.

And the bigger problem is that I cannot install Windows on any of these - it says that "windows cannot be installed on this disk. The selected disk is of the GPT partition style."

I found that using DISKPART I could fix that but then I will also lose my data, or not?
