BIG PROBLEM Xbox One controller with my keyboard !!!

so.. i bought a new xbox one controller.. after 1 month i had some problems im my pc.. so i had to format it.. after installing steam and everything.. i started GTA V online.. i connected my controller.. my keyboard stopped working !!! i can exit the game by pressing alt and F4.. but my keys wont able to press !! my mouse still working thuo.. what is the problem plz i need help.. they must both be connected to make chats and so on !! =D Thnx =)
