Last month I upgrade my pc, I bought a brand new AMD R9 380 4GB MSI, but when i was trying to play GTA 5 (Ultra settings) I was not getting the performance I want. I check on the internet and many people say that the cpu is affecting the performance of the gpu. I have a Intel core I5 750 2.67 Ghz, What should I do?

You can purchase an older LGA1156 CPU.

Shameless plug: I have an i5-2320 if you want it; $80 shipped.

Depending on the amount of RAM you have you may want to buy more as well.

Primary Build: i7-4790 · 16GB Hynix DDR3-1600 · Sapphire Tri-X R9 390x · NZXT S340 · Win10 Pro · Seagate Barracuda 1TB T_T

You may not like this answer, but upgrading your CPU, motherboard, and RAM (all due to compatibility with an upgraded CPU) might be your next step.

hahaha he's unfortunatly right, you're not going to get that much of a boost without getting a new socket for your CPU, which well your going to need to replace your mobo for

My motherboard is Intel, and ddr 3, i have 8gb of ram (1886mhz), do I really need to change my mobo?

You're RAM kit is solid, so feel free to hang on to that. However, to say your motherboard "is Intel" is mildly baffling. Use your control panel to ascertain what your motherboard is, then look up the socket for said motherboard. Or just look up what socket your processor supports and work backwards, either way.

For more information, my mobo is an Intel DH55PJ, http://www.aliexpress.com/item/For-Intel-DH55PJ-100-original-motherboard-Socket-LGA-1156-DDR3-H55-8GB-for-i3-i5-CPU/32329207217.html?spm=2114.40010708.4.2.2Wo1rK
