APEX psu thoughts?

I had to switch out my Corsair 750w PSU for an APEX 750w. I have never heard of APEX? Are they any good? I can't even find them on newegg.. I got the APEX psu when i bought for the corsair PSU just in case i needed it.

Well quite frankly I don't trust brands that I don't know ESPECIALLY if they're not sold by a well reputed distributor. I would scour the Interwebs for reviews and if you can't find anything switch it out ASAP, I trust Antec, Corsair, Seasonic, and several others for PSUs. I think I've seen APEX mentioned once or twice in the teksyndicate forum, but nothing solid.

Never heard of them myself; but from a quick search online they don't seem to be covered in glory. I would stay away from them in all honesty, just seem like a low budget, low quality PSU manufacturer which is not what you want powering your system. Have you contacted Corsair for an RMA on your 750W unit?

I wouldn't recommend you to get an APEX PSU. I would get a Corsair or a Seasonic PSU instead.

Yes, my RMA application has been processed and accepted. Ill get my New Corsair PSU in 2 weeks.
