Hi, I'm having trouble with my graphics card drivers at the moment, I'm using a HD 5970 with windows 7 64bit, and I changed to the 13.8 beta drivers a couple of weeks ago and not long after getting them my 2nd display started getting a sort of stutter on the bottom half of the screen, it's not constant but it just kind of jitters like once a second, sometimes more if I'm doing something on that screen. Whilst it doesn't make working on that screen impossible, it is ridiculously irritating. It also very rarely happens on my main display, apart from when I'm running a full screen application, then it happens about as often as on the 2nd display normally. Now this isn't actually the problem at the moment, the problem is, when I try to roll back to 13.4 (which I was hoping would stop it) I blue screen, and when I go to launch again it blue screens again and doesn't launch windows properly, it will start up completely fine after rebooting again and doing a launch repair, but the drivers are still 13.8. I also noticed last night they had a new beta driver out, 13.10, so I installed that hoping it would have some kind of impact on it, but nothing, and trying to do a rollback has the same effect. I tried completely uninstalling the display drivers and fresh installing 13.4 off their site but it always fails to install for some reason and after restarting, it blue screens again just like after trying a rollback, but will launch again after another launch repair but reverts back to 13.10 before I unistalled the drivers completely.

I have had the card for a number of years now and I'm prepaired to accept that it could actually be a physical problem with the card and the updated driver somehow just messed with it, but I would prefer to put off upgrading to a 680 for another couple of months still, when I was planning on getting one anyway, so if there is any other way you guys can think of trying to get it back to 13.4 or just some way to stop the stuttering for the mean time would be great.

Thanks
