Hey all, new here, and to PC building.

First rig I've built (5 months ago) has been awesome until The Division Beta. Computer doesn't BSOD, just restarts after playing the game for anywhere between 1 hour and 3 hours. Straight restart as if I hit the button. I'd boot back up, I'd log into windows, get back on the game, and it would restart after logging in and playing for a very short amount of time. Turning setting from ultra way down did help the issue.

Based on my own research it seemed as though this was a PSU issue. I live in Colorado, and my rig is in a basement that is quite cold most of the time; so I'm not sure if it's temps from other components.

After researching my PSU vs others, it looks as though it is a POS for what I intended to use it for. I have since bought a new one, but haven't been able to test any games (Division is the only game this has happened to, though).

Intel i5 4690k

EVGA GTX 980 FTW

Gigabyte z97x Gaming 5 MOBO

G.Skill Ripjaws X 16 GB

250 GB SSD

1 TB HDD

*Old PSU - Corsair CX600M

*New PSU - EVGA Supernova 650 P2

I was under the impression 600w was enough power for my PC. Is this incorrect? Or is it just a bad PSU?

If 600 isn't enough, is 650 from the good EVGA? I truly don't mind spending a little bit more money on a more powerful PSU (may SLI in the future).

Thank you all in advance!
