Kailh Blues

Hi all,

 

I'm looking at getting an Azio MGK-1 mechanical keyboard for around £53 but I can see it uses Kailh blue key switches. I only have one problem, no one seems to stock replacement key caps to customise the keyboard. I only want a set of wasd keys. Does anyone know any retailers that could help me out, I'd be very greatful.

I'm pretty sure Cherry MX keycaps fit on Kailh switches.

Kalih switches have the same + shape stem as Cherry switches. It's like their main selling point.

And yes, Kailh's are just clones of Cherry MX switches - just like Outemu, Gateron, Razer etc etc. You may want to also consider that most keycaps aren't suited for backlit keyboards.

Im In the uk And since its Only for the wasd keys, i Dont Really care about back lighting but should i Purchase cherry mx Blues?

If you think that it's a good price, then Kailh's are fine. If you can find similarly priced Cherry MX key switches, then you can maybe go that route.

Thank you all for your help. One final request, does anyone know a good place were I could purchase a set of WASD keys for cherry mx blue switches? I would like to get a set of textured keys if that's possible?
