Realtek audio driver being weird

carzacc

If I plug in the microphone in my computer(onboard ASUS sound card) I get a popup but the microphone is not showing up in the driver and in windows it is "unplugged", and obviously it doesn't work.

It used to work, but it seems to not work since I tried using a pair of earbuds with integrated microphone.
