How much power do i need?

A decent 500w psu would be sufficient. What PSUs options do you have?

500 hdd is a lot of hdd, i think he needs more than 4500 watts assuming each hard disk is 8W each

jk, a tier 1 or tier 2 500~550W psu is enough like dj said

The wattage they would use is around 350W so use that as you will.
