Hi i just build my computer a couple of weeks ago.

And now its starting to cause some trouble... ( once in a while)

Specs:

i5-6600K

Maximus hero VIII

16gb Dominator DDR4 ram.

i have 5 harddrives in total.

3 mechanical.

2 SSD.

One of the SSd's have windows on it.

My issue:

Once in a while, every third or fourth bootup, it can't find the boot drive...

Not even in BIOS.

Then i can shut down, unplug a sata cable of a random harddrive, boot into bios, change boot order to the correct SSD which is suddenly present again.

Then reboot, and reconnect the sata cable. And everything works fine...

I have done this 4 times now..

I am clueless...

Hope you guys can help to solve this issue...

Wish I could help, however I have this same problem and I only have one extra hard drive with an SSD as my boot. I have to unplug the SATA cables and plug them back in for my mobo to recognize it. (only does it once in a blue moon but it does happen)

GPU: XFX RX 7900 XTX

CPU: Ryzen 7 7800X3D
