Server not posting turning on

Hello,

 

Dell Poweredge 1950

I had my server on yester day and realisted it was getting a bit hot so i replaced the thermal paste today and then the server is turning on but will not display any information.

Could you have possibly put the CPU in the socket the wrong way(little arrows lined up)?  I know it sounds foolish, but it's very easy to overlook small things like this(I've done it).

 

Do you have any LED indicators or error code displays?

I have a look at the cpu's and take them out and have a look again

Ok so I checked the one CPU and it has litrally 1 metal pick a little bent for some reason but it is only one and It is running smooth dont under stand why its not posting
