How could I go about removing a handful of small vital folders from a hard drive that has an extremely bad virus on it?

(text documents / power points)

plug it into another pc and move your files off it

Wouldn't it just spread to the new computer?

(It latched onto launch files, changed administrative password, kept launching programs, couldn't remove with roguekill or malwarebytes or avast (or similar programs)
