Hey all,

I decided today to clean a my PC a little bit.

I cleaned it, re-did the cables and turned it back on.

The message that said "Your PC qas shut down unexpectetly and needs to be repaired and blah blah, clicked on repair and start and BOOM,  BOOT DEVICE NOT FOUND :(

Tried agaain with "start windows normally, still the same.

I tried removing all devices except my SSD with windows on it, still the same.

I go into bios, and all my devices are recognised there. I can see my SSD, HDD and DVD player.

I tried changing from UEFI&LEGACY to just one or the other, no luck again.

I tried changing from AHCI to IDE(i dont know what else tto try), no luck again.

See below my parts:

Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit

Gigabyte Z87-D3HP

i5-4670

2x4gb HyperX Ram

Sapphire 7970 Dual-x OC 3GB

Samsung 840 Pro 128GB

Seagate Barracuda 2TB

Samsung SH-224DB/BEBE DVD/CD Writer

BeQuiet Straight Power 680w

Thank you all in advance for your help

Alex.

Just now, targaryen said:

My ssd is first in order "UEFI Samsung 840 Pro SSD"

boot with a live linux distro and see if you actually can see data on that drive - it's possible it got borked

if you have any important data and it's accessible, back it up

then try and use the Windows 7 install kitt to repair the installation;  this guide should help: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/start-your-computer-from-a-windows-7-installation-disc-or-usb-flash-drive
