Mcomp vs Bsc (UK)

Hi

 

So I am on my 2nd year of computer science right now and I've figured out that I won't be able to afford the tuition fees for Masters Degree.

However I've found out that if I do Mcomp instead (Master of Computing) I will still get my student grants and loans so I will be able to actually financially survive it. 

Is there a massive difference between getting a masters vs the Mcomp? I am thinking employability-wise. And would I even be able to still sign up for Mcomp half way through the 2nd year of my course?

Do the Mcomp for now because you can afford it, and do the masters in a few years after once you can afford it? That would make you super employable!
