Any reason you gave formatting like this?

If you're talking about ECC, they have the same pins. But not all motherboards can support them. Some people have accidentally used ECC on their consumer motherboard only to get fried silicone chips.

Im talking about a specific type of ECC DDR3 called "buffered" or "registered" ECC ram. I looked up a couple pictures of buffered ECC DDR3 and "standard" g-skill ram, i scaled them in a photoshop like app, and they look physically compatible from what i can tell.
