Posted February 27, 2016 Hi. I have had yet another bad experience with Origin. I bought Titanfall for PC to try it out and of course it requires Origin. I go to launch Origin to register the game and Origin's servers are down. Seriously, the one time I want to do it your f**king servers are down! Oh well, that's why we have Steam. Let me know what you think, Alpha. 2017 Gaming PC Excellent value machine, keeps me going. Posted February 27, 2016 Well, I played the Titanfall Beta once and I didn't have any trouble. However I have not used origin since then so that about sums it up, I think. Anyways, I like Origin a lot. My only problem with it is that it lacks a large library of games. | The United Empire of Earth Wants You | The Stormborn (ongoing build; 90% done) | Skyrim Mods Recommendations | LTT Blue Forum Theme! | Learning Russian! Posted February 27, 2016 It's improved tons! Plus ea gives a free game each month without any extra cost. They recently gave out most wanted 2012 and they also have really good support HP Pavilion p007tx (i5 4210u, gt840m, 8GB DDR3 memory and a 1 TB HDD that makes cool sounds when booting up) Since my laptop can't run modern games too well I use a PS4 Link to comment https://linustechtips.com/topic/555847-origin-good-or-bad/#findComment-7323906 Share on other sites
 Posted February 27, 2016 Another site I have to watch sales for. And worse some games on Origin are not available on Steam. Origin is better than Steam in many ways but why can't they just put their games on Steam like Uplay? Posted February 27, 2016 The Origin client is perfect for what they need, my only qualm with EA is that their games need to be fleshed out more and they need to get rid of Battelog for their Battlefield games. They really need to support community features more like community servers, server browsers, custom game modes, etc. But the client isn't a nuisance at all and they have sales pretty regularly for their games. Also their customer support is top notch. I don't think I have had an issue with the client or their services at all. Battlelog is my only real gripe. It wasn't working but I haven't checked since yesterday. I do prefer Steam, it's just a bit more open-sourced and I have like 80 games on it.
