Steam Client Issues

So recently I've been having troubles with the Steam Client. Loading anything e.g store, inventory, profile take somewhere along the lines of three years. A lot of the time when it loads the pictures don't long and it is beginning to be really annoying. Anyone know why or how to fix this?

Also my internet is absolutely fine.

Have you tried reinstalling client? If that doesn't help, it might be issue on Steam server side.

Does reinstalling uninstall all my games?

Yes and no. It won't uninstall/delete local game files. But you need to point Steam Library to correct folder(s) again and verify all files are in those files. Pretty much same as you would when you backup games for new windows install. You can move game folder off Steam clients folder to be safe and move them back after reinstall.
