Move Programs/other to another partition

Hi everyone !

So I need to move quite a lot of data from my 2TB Barracuda, even if I only use ~650GB of it, because I want to clone the OS to an SSD (850 Pro 256GB)

How should I move the stuff I don't need in my SSD (manually ?) ?

After moving everything to the other partition of my HDD, should I delete the stuff from the 1st partition or will it cause problems ?

I'm a bit scared to be honest and I want to make sure I do it right, so please develop your answers so I can be sure what I do is the right way to do it.

Reconnect Barracuda and shift the files you want (to your SSD or other drive)

Just don't shift installed application directories. They usually rely on registry entries and file associations that are only made upon installation.

So I can leave the OS on the Barracuda ?
