ok so here is some of my current specs that im looking to upgrade

case: antec df-85
mobo: msi 890fxa-gd70
cpu: amd phenom II x6 1100t
ram: 16gb ddr3 corsair vengence (4x4)
primary HDD: ocz vertex 128gb ssd
gpu: amd radeon hd 6450 (but i just ordered a msi radeon R7 370 4gb version)
psu: corsair tx750

im looking to upgrade basically everything but one component at a time so i have questions

since my cpu is am3+ that means any am3+ will fit in its socket right? im looking at getting a AMD FX-8370 if so
also since ima be adding a video card upgrade to my setup do i have to reactivate win 10?(it says its activated with digital entitlement

Yep any AM3+ CPU will fit that socket

I don't know about Windows 10 reactivating do, if you already activated with the key your were provided, unless you make a clean install you shouldn't have to activate it again.

If you are gaming:

i5-4460 if you don't want to overclock

i5-4690k if you overclock

on a MSI Z97 Krait Edtion

You don't have to reactivate windows 10.

ok sweet, i dont wanna have to replace cpu and motherboard and ram all in one chunk lol

im trying to kind of keep with am3+ socket so i can pull off the one component at a time step and since i currently have a am3+ it just wouldnt be cost effective to jump all the way over to intel in one paycheck lol

im mostly happy my df-85 can fit basically anything

so i just checked and apparently my cpu is only a am3 and not am3+ is there a difference?
