There's a better amount of clearance in the top slot, that would be your safest bet I think...

I currently have a corsair h55 in the top slots on mine, works fine.

If you have static pressure optimized fans running push/pull won't improve performance.

 

If you don't have SP fans, I suggest you get them. You'll have much more room, and your system will be quieter.
