To start with the motherboard it is a ASUS crosshair v formula-z with an fx 8350 processor with 2x 8gb ddr3 ram. I recently put my motherboard in a new case and changed my 750W PSU to an 850W. After booting I recieve an error 50 (Memory initialization error. Invalid memory type or incompatable memory speed).

Here is what I've tried to remedy the problem.

1. Hooking the old PSU back up, same error

2. Taking out RAM and trying each stick 1 slot at a time, same error.

3. Unplugging PSU and taking out mobo battery, putting back in and powering up, same error.

4. Taking out RAM completely, same error. Which is odd since that should have shown up as a different error code.

Now what I do remember doing a while back was changing the speed to 1600 in the BIOS a while back but other than that no changes. Any help trying to fix this problem would be greatly appreciated and the sooner I'm not relying on my tablet for everything, the better.
